Kjell Knutsson

Years active: 35+

Grade: Black belt 8th dan

Kjell started training martial art, in his Birth town Simrishamn, with Shotokan Karate 1986. In 1988 a Wing Chun club opened in Simrishamn and after training both karate and Wing Chun for a while Kjell switched to Wing Chun.

In 1998 the club was taken over by Master Ho Chiu Sing and Kjell was introduced to WuZuQuan. Because of the experience and background within Martial Art Kjell became the assistant trainer under Master Ho Chiu Sing in the Simrishamn club.

During many years Kjell was training and teaching at several of Master Ho’s clubs in the south of Sweden and was training kung fu in combination with weight training almost every day.

In 2002 it was finally time for Kjell and Peter to start up a club of their own and 2002-05-09 the club WuZuQuan Lund started.

Today, Kjell is together with Peter one of the highest ranked in Scandinavia and is currently teaching WuZuQuan in Sweden.

Peter Svensson

Years active: 35+

Grade: Black belt 8th dan

Peter started his martial journey back in 1985 under Master Ho Chiu Sing. Today, Peter is together with Kjell one of the highest ranked in Scandinavia and is currently teaching WuZuQuan in Sweden and Denmark.

When he competed in early days, he became Swedish and Danish national champion in kung fu. Peter has also been practicing Yang Tai Chi and Qigong for many years.

Peters characteristics as a trainer: Peter teaches in a traditional and meticulous way with a good understanding of each individual student’s needs.

Michael Sjölin

Years active: 35+

Grade: 2nd degree black belt

Michael has been doing martial arts since 1983 when he started doing Wuzuquan in Lund under the tutelage of Master Ho. He achieved a 2nd degree black belt and at the same time became a licensed kickboxing instructor. 1990 Michael was a part of the national sanda team for the 1990 International Wushu Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There he received a bronze medal.

He started and operated the Landskrona Wuzuquan branch where the students became very successful winning many national and international kickboxing and sanda titles (European and World championships).

Currently Michael is operating a small Wuzuquan only club in Nacka just outside Stockholm, Sweden where mostly traditional training methods are applied such as knocking hands, two-man forms and weapons are applied. Some old style utilities such as hitting rocks are also in place.

Michael is also a national kickboxing, allstyle and sanda judge as well as an international sanda judge and has judged at both European and World Championships as well as national and international competitions. Michael has trained more than 100 sanda judges in Sweden and Norway.

Michael was also a founding member of
